Myra and Frankie at The RVT

As always there’s a smorgasbord of treats on offer at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern including the Roast of Mrs Moore on Thursday (11 Jul) which promises to be hilarious and is raising money for THT.

Friday night the mega popular venue has two amazing shows, starting early with multi media star Myra DuBois and her Edinburgh R.I.Preview, (we see what she did there) of her new show, Dead Funny, a sardonic side-eyed look at death and at the theatre of grief starting at 8pm. That’s followed by the return of Frankie Goes to Vauxhall, the 80s synth-pop themed night with DJ Mike Kelly and guests.

Saturday it’s the one and only Duckie and on Sunday the transatlantic dame, Charlie Hides will be blowing out the candles on her birthday cake at Sunday Social with DJs Simon Le Vans and Phill Marriott. Tickets and info from vauxhalltavern.com

The Two Brewers weekend

There’s loads on this weekend down in Clapham at The Two Brewers starting with Snap A Lash on Thursday (11 Jul), a celebration of musicals from Mercury Presents and guests followed by Danny Beard.

On Saturday the Gay Men’s Dance Company present three special shows under the title, The Chechnya Plays and later on there’s cabaret from KY Kelly. Sunday rolls around and brings with it the Power of Four featuring those kittens of mirth Myra DuBois, Miss Jason, Mary Mac and Sandra. Hoorah!

Treat yourself at Little Ku

The sun is shining and all the Ku venues will be fit to bursting with happy smiling faces this weekend, not to forgot those easy on the eye bar boys. Apart from the mothership Lisle Street venue, complete with the Light Lounge upstairs and Klub downstairs, don’t forget there’s also the cute and sexy Little Ku on Frith Street where they have some AMAzing deals from Monday to Thursday including delicious discounts on these gin delights;  Bombay English Estate and Fever Tree Tonic, Bosford Rose and Fever Tree tonic £5 single or £7.50 for a double on both those or £15 for a three people sharer… sounds very civilised to us.

Panda Pop at The Duke of Welly

Thank pop it’s Friday… and Panda Pop at The Duke of Wellington is a great way to start your weekend. This Friday (12 Jul) head down to the Soho boozer to find the day-glow DJ princess, Heidi Liscious spinning the pop and disco gems from 9pm.

Bears, Cubs + Chubs oh my… at XXL

This Saturday (13 Jul) the gang from XXL are back doing what they do best, rocking our world on the dancefloors of Pulse. The theme this week is the ever popular Bears, Cubs + Chubs and we guarantee the Southbank venue will be nipple to nipple with totty. Plus the music will be first-class as always with Paul Morrell and Alex Logan on the main floor and David Robson and Joe Egg in that funky Fur Lounge.

Two shows at Above The Stag

This weekend there’s two amazing and different shows on at the Boyz Award-winning Above The Stag Theatre in Vauxhall. In the main space Closer to Heaven the musical by the Pet Shop Boys and Jonathan Harvey has just opened and in the studio it’s Boy Toy the rather excellent modern dance show based on the comic ballet Coppélia. Tickets for these shows and upcoming at abovethestag.com.

Sunday at Circa the Club

This weekend at Circa The Club, not only do you get Vibes on Friday and Lucky You with Jodie Harsh on Saturday, but they also have something rather gorgeous for Sunday (14 Jul). Alan, Nieko and the gang will be hosting the official after-party for Super Paradise, the LGBTQ+ beach party that’s happening on the Southbank in the afternoon. Circa The Club will be open from 7pm and will be offering yummy cocktails, hot DJs and all round summer vibes.

Karla and The Vixens at Halfway II Heaven

There’s always something to celebrate at Halfway II Heaven, but this weekend on top of all the usual cabaret madness (Mrs Moore, Rose Garden, CK etc) they have a couple of extra reasons to party. On Friday (12 Jul) the gorgeous Karla Bear who won this year’s Drag Idol for the venue will be performing and on Saturday The Vixens, our favourite drag girl group will be celebrating four years at the Charing Cross venue.

Happy Hour at Rupert Street

The gorgeous Rupert Street Bar is always a fun and stylish place to hang out and every day they have deals on cocktails and bottles of Champagne during Happy Hour from midday until 8pm every day of the week. Marvellous

Three nights of cabaret at The Old Ship

There’s three, yep count ‘em three amazing acts this weekend at The Old Ship in Limehouse starting on Friday (12 Jul) with the one and only Baga Chipz. Saturday it’s the turn of Sandra and on Sunday they welcome back Fanny Coil… don’t say we didn’t warn you.
