There’s something for everyone this Friday (20 Jan) at the Two Brewers. In the Cabaret Bar the amazing Danny Beard, Drag Idol winner 2015, is back with DJ Demon while in the Club Bar you get funky vocal, deep and tech house at Backroom Floor Fillers with DJs Dan Gereux, Liam Chaplin and Sam Londt.

We are loving the new Ku Kabaret on Sunday nights downstairs at Klub in the Leicester Square venue. This Sunday (22 Jan) hostess Jacqui Swallows will be introducing the ever-popular Vicki Vivacious plus Boyz favourite Vinegar Strokes, and it all kicks off at 7pm
Saturday at XXL
This Saturday (21 Jan) Mark Ames and his team of fluffy fellas are doing what they do best: great music in a fantastic venue with a hot crowd of bears, blokes and hotties of all kinds. The big, bad club tunes come from DJs Paul Morrell and Alex Logan in the Main Room while in the Fur Lounge it’s the diamante duo of Joe Egg and David Robson mixing up the pop and R&B with a few guilty pleasures plus the merest hint of disco.
Popcorn Dreams
This Monday (23 Jan) Nadim and the gang at Popcorn will be getting out the glittery frocks and learning the words to And I Am Telling You for their Dreamgirls themed party. So For One Night Only you can expect stage shows and decor inspired by the smash hit musical.
Another 50 years of Queer at the RVT
This Thursday (19 Jan) the team from RVT Future are holding a special night called Another 50 Years of Queer. While we celebrate 50 years since the decriminalisation of homosexuality, this event will focus on keeping the gay scene going for another 50 years and more. There’s discussion that will include the Night Czar and Duckie legend, Amy Lame, and others, plus music and performers. Not to be missed.
Mandy’s back at the Old Ship
This Sunday (22 Jan) the one and only Mandy Gap will be swinging her handbag like it’s going out of fashion (NB it was never in fashion) and belting out a fine selection of hits at the Old Ship in Limehouse.
Cybil’s House at the White Swan
Those marvellous folk from Cybil’s House are back at the White Swan this Saturday (21 Jan) with Night of a Thousand Cybils. Happy Nude Year
The Vauxhall Gay Life Drawing Group is back with a new season for the New Year and meets this and every Thursday above the Griffin pub on Wyvil Road, giving artists the opportunity to draw the nude male figure from direct observation. Drawing boards are provided but attendees are advised to bring their own pencils, paper and charcoal. The workshops are informal, friendly and relaxed. Sessions start at 7pm and cost £11 per person.
Get fit with hockey
The London Royals hockey team is back for another of their ‘open to all’ training sessions this Sunday (22 Jan) from 10.15am.
