Para Pride at The RVT

This Saturday afternoon from midday the team from ParaPride present a special event at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern. Designed to include and celebrate LGBTQ+ people with any kind of disability ParaPride 2019 will feature a host of performers including Son of a Tutu, Sacha La Hore, Wonky Wordsmith, Maria Hurtz, Shaun Shears, Ebony Rose Dark, Constance Craving, Miss Sugar Cube, Frankie, Smashlyn Monroe and The Wheel Elvis plus there’s two panels with people from Stonewall, UK Black Pride, Pride in London, Hero, LGBT consortium and more. Special measures will be in place to make The RVT more accessible and user friendly. Entry is free, but you are welcome to make a donation if you reserve a ticket via vauxhalltavaern.com 

Magic at The Two Brewers

It’s another week of magic down in Clapham and on Thursday (15 Aug) and Friday you see the Boyz Award-winning Two Box Productions newest musical parody, Harry Poppers and the Chamber of Sequins from 8pm. Later on Thursday you get cabaret from Miss Penny and on Friday it’s Sandra while the guys from Backroom are back in the Club Bar. Saturday night it’s the one and only Danny Beard and at The Power of Four on Sunday, Miss Penny, Mary Mac and Sandra are joined by special guest Marsha Mallow for hi-jinks and hoots. Head to Little Ku

Did you know there’s actually five, yes 5, Ku venues? The mothership is the big bar on Lisle Street that has the funky Klub downstairs and above it is the gorgeous Light Lounge, that’s three. Number four is She Soho for the LGBT girls and last, but not least it’s Little Ku, sometimes called Ku Soho. Like most good things it’s a small, but perfect package, fit to bursting with a happy vibe, cool tunes, drinks offers, Happy Hours and the cutest bar boys in town… see you there. 

XXL Military with Fat Tony 

Attention… This is not a drill! It’s time to get out the combats, sailors uniform or the Top Gun style US Air force kit (swoon)… this Saturday (17 Aug) it’s XXL Military at Pulse. Not only do you get a club packed with horny squaddies… but Fat Tony is back alongside that crack squadron of resident DJs. 

Diamonds at Halfway

It’s another sparkling weekend ahead at Halfway II Heaven kicking off on Friday (16 Aug) with a pair of gems. First up at 8pm it’s Marsha Mallow and at 10pm it’s special guest Dolly Diamond, all the way from Australia. On Saturday we get Mrs Moore from 4pm, birthday girl Rose Garden, Tanya Hyde at 8pm and The Vixens at 10pm with Justin Swift. Sunday belongs to who else but Crystal and Kelly and on Monday the hilarious Wayne Carter is on stage at 8.30pm. 

Two shows at Above The Stag

Right now there’s two fantastic shows on at Above The Stag in Vauxhall. In the main theatre it’s Closer to Heaven the musical written by The Pet Shop Boys and Jonathan Harvey while in the studio it’s Making Porn, a comedy about the gay porn industry of the 1980s. Fun nights at Circa The Club

Circa The Club is the totally awesome and totally rocking state of the art nightclub located by Embankment Station. Friday nights are called Friday Vibes and they also have a fierce selection of performers and DJs, while Saturdays are Lucky You a joint venture with that one woman global brand Jodie Harsh, which also comes with a super-sexy crowd and gorgeous DJs. 

Busy Bingo at Duke of Welly 

The Duke of Wellington is a chilled, relaxed place to enjoy a cold beer and spend time with friends while guy watching… most days of the week. Tuesdays it all gets a tad bonkers at Busy Lady Bingo with the amazing Sheila Simmonds, Aussie shopping star and BGT sensation, and her hilarious games and prizes, we love it! 

White Swan’s Madonna party

We’ve got it marked on all our calendars at Boyz Towers, so we’re sure you know that this Friday (16 Aug) is Madonna’s Birthday. yep Queen Madge will be 61 and to celebrate there’s a full blown Madonna Discotheque from the team at Pop Curious at The White Swan in Limehouse. Your RVT weekend

The amazing Mutya Buena from Sugababes starts this weekend at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern on Thursday (15 Aug) followed on Friday by clubbing shenanigans from those frisky Beefmince guys. Saturday is Paradpride from midday to 6pm and from 9pm it can only be Duckie. The weekend climaxes at Sunday Social when your Queen of Cabaret is Boyz Award-winner Charlie Hides… Wahoo.

Sink The Pink Street Party

Saturday (17 Aug) is the amazing Sink The Pink Street Party in Finsbury Park, it’s guaranteed to be a day of ‘pure queer joy’ packed with amazing performers, DJs and much more. From 1pm to late. Tickets at sinkthepink.co.uk 

Three nights of cabaret at The Old Ship

John and his team at The Old Ship in Limehouse have three amazing acts on this weekend, starting on Friday (16 Aug) with Sandra. Saturday is Drag Idol finalist and Boyz Awrd winner Poppycock and bringing it all home on Sunday, the one and only Lola Lasagne. 

Sweatbox are looking for you!
