Sandra: This is your Life
Thursday 5 September, from 7pm
There’s no one on the cabaret scene quite like Sandra… actually there’s probably no one on Earth like the original Whore of Hampstead Heath. On the first Thursday in September a host of her fellow cabaret stars, including Dave Lynn, are coming together to ‘celebrate’ her unique place in our hearts. The whole thing is hosted by Boyz’ Dave Cross and promises to be a hoot and a half.
Space Age Love Songs
From Wednesday 4 to 28 September
‘In Space no one can hear you sing…’ Space Age Love Songs is a feel good science fiction musical written by TL Wiswell. It tells the story of a goth girl who loves Heaven 17, Gary Numan, Bladerunner, Flash Gordon and other early 80s touchstones and the beautiful boy she meets who wants to be a space drag diva. The show is packed with great music, dancing androids, a disco on the moon, a prom and so much more.
