The team at Ku have always supported the wider LGBTQ+ community and already host weekly non-binary events. They have a long tradition of drag hosts and DJs and now they have confirmed the launch of not one, but two new drag themed events at Ku Lisle Street. Here’s the scoop.
Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK screening
Thursday 3 October and every Thursday at 8pm
There’s massive excitement about the long awaited first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. The first episode airs at 8pm on Thursday 3 October and what could be better than watching it live surrounded by other fans, in the super stylish Ku Bar Leicester Square on Lisle Street, being served drinks by the Ku bar Boys! The screening will feature a drag host, drag DJ and will be happening every week while the series is on.

Sunday 29 September and every Sunday from 8pm
From Sunday 29 September the team at Ku on Lisle Street are launching a brand new Sunday night drag event downstairs in the swish and funky Klub. Hosted by, who else, but Lady Lloyd, who will be spinning up a pop and R&B storm on the decks. Each week she will be joined by two different drag guests including on the first night, RPDR UK star and Boyz Award-winner Sum Ting Wong. This is a night where every gender and sexuality is welcome, keep an eye on the Ku socials and Boyz website for details of which acts are appearing.
