It was an epic New Year’s Day at The RVT when Jonathan Hellyer – the man who used to stand just behind the DE Experience – performed in a new guise as one of the music duo The Numan League with musician Jonathan Wakelin. We heard renditions of 80’s hits by Cyndi Lauper, Kim Wilde, Kate Bush, Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, OMD and the Pet Shop Boys. A fabulously moving performance and a great friendly crowd to be with on the first night of 2020.
