BEAR CARNIVAL
20th March to 29th April 2020
Bear Carnival is held every March and the programme comprises around 40 events including Europe’s biggest bear pool parties, excursions to discover the subtropical paradise of Gran Canaria, fine dining experiences, one day cruises in a catamaran, luxury spa evenings, cabaret shows, a speed dating party… all organised around a crazy bear carnival with a new theme each year. 2020’s theme will be “Greeks and Romans”.
MASPALOMAS SUMMER FIESTA
1st to 31st August 2020
Maspalomas Summer Fiesta is an LGBT community festival featuring cultural excursions, special events and parties throughout August for tourists and locals in and around Maspalomas. Events include boat trips, scuba diving, pool parties, quizzes, fetish parties, drag shows and even wine tasting! They also raise money for a local charity.
SUMMER FIESTA DRAG QUEEN RACE

During the Maspalomas Summer Fiesta , there’s the Summer Fiesta Drag Queen Race with initial heats followed by a final later in August. If you are interested in entering just contact their Facebook page.
MASPALOMAS FETISH WEEK
2nd to 11th October 2020
Maspalomas Fetish Week is an annual international event for men into fetish gear and play, organised by Igon Canaries, in collaboration with businesses in and around the Yumbo Centre in Playa del Ingles. Each night during the nine days of Fetish Week, promoters from around Europe host exclusive parties in the Yumbo venues, with DJs, live XXX shows, fetish art expos, and the annual Mr Fetish Gran Canaria competition – which is open to the public with prizes to be won. Everyone is encouraged to wear fetish gear at night, and the dress code for most venues is leather, rubber, uniforms, skinhead, military and sports kit. The event raises money for a local HIV charity.
