Bucks Fizz at the RVT

Cabaret at the George and Dragon
It’s all go again this weekend at the George and Dragon as the Duchess welcomes a gaggle of cabaret stars to the Greenwich venue. Friday (3 Mar) sees the lovely Martha D’Arthur take to the stage while on Saturday (4 Mar) it’s that Northern chanteuse and raconteur Myra DuBois putting the world to rights. And on Sunday (5 Mar), pianist Ian Parker is joined by Kelly Mild for some musical fun.
Jeremy’s Challenge
For 2017, Jeremy Joseph from G-A-Y has set himself a Six Event Challenge to raise money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation. The first one is next Sunday (12 Mar) and it’s the Adidas Silverstone Half Marathon, and that’s followed next month by the Virgin Money London Marathon on Sunday 23 April with more events later in the year. You can never accuse the team at Her Upstairs of not being down with the kids and this Friday (3 Mar) they present Gotta Snatch ‘Em All. This Pokémon flavoured night will be hosted by Meth and will feature the Foster Kids plus special guests Ruby Wednesday and DJ Tete Bang.
Heather Small at G-A-Y
Solo pop star, former Strictly contestant and voice of M People, Heather Small, will be at G-A-Y next Saturday (11 Mar). Expect to hear hits such as One Night in Heaven, Search for the Hero, Moving On Up and her solo anthem Proud.
Miss Nightingale
Original British musical Miss Nightingale transfers to the Vaults in Waterloo for an eight-week run from Thursday 30 March.
