Pioneering arts & film festival Brixton Reel continues next week at the Rich Mix with its legendary Asian Queer cabaret and film night Too Desi Too Queer celebrating uniquely Asian LGBTQIA+ cultural experience.
Brixton Reel Festival continues on Wednesday 27th April at hypster central – the Rich Mix, with the return of its legendary Asian Queer cabaret and film night Too Desi Too Queer, celebrating and exploring uniquely Asian LGBTQIA+ cultural experience and looking after our mental and physical wellbeing.
The kick ass cabaret acts are headlined by the now mainstream famous comedian and singer Asifa Lahore (pictured above), and also includes high energy acts like dancer Kaajel Patel, singer Mista Miss Sirene and drag queen Bolly Illusion.
Some of the latest shorts from India and Pakistan also kick off the evening at 7pm doors for a 7.30pm start.
