One Night In Heaven: Easter Sunday 16th April

One Night In Heaven celebrates 12 months of sensational one-off parties with a takeover of world-class DJs this weekend. From Fat Tony, Matt Bogard and special guest Dani Toro to cutting-edge club night WUT?, Heaven has it all this Easter Sunday. Marketing and Promotions Manager Nadim Aoun explains more.

Hi Nadim, talk us through this latest One Night In Heaven theme.

Hi Boyz! So as you’ve come to expect from the One Night events, this one has not one but two takeovers. The main room sees international super brand XLsior hosting, plus there’s a very special Room 2 starring East London sensation WUT? Club.

What can we expect in each room of the club?

XLsior will feature that staple groovy uplifting vocal circuit house that Dani Toro (headlining) is renowned for. Fat Tony starts off with pumping tech house and Matt Bogard closes the main room continuing from Dani. Expect over-the-top stage production, dancers and enhanced lights and sound. WUT? Club will see Cain Jennings and the rest of the family providing the dancefloor entertainment like only they know how, including drag superstar Smiley Virus who’s celebrating her birthday. Plus Attack Attack Attack and Samantha Togni play everything from disco to pop to techno in what’s become their unique style.

How did WUT? come on board?

WUT? is known for its OTT collective of dragtastic performers and eclectic mix of genres, so they will no doubt provide a takeover to remember for ages.

What can we expect with the stage shows and production?

The hottest boys and girls around, loads of confetti and extraordinary glamour – just how we like it at One Night In Heaven. The opening show will be something to remember too.

What’s special guest Dani Toro like as a DJ?

Dani is incredible. He’s played virtually every major international circuit party and will grace the Heaven main floor for the first time. He plays his own version of circuit house, vocal, tech and tribal – a slightly groovier version of the well known ‘circuit’ genre.

How have your One Night In Heaven parties evolved since your first one a year ago?

It’s only fitting that after 12 months of One Night In Heaven parties we continue this evolution that entails variation. Whether it was having Seb Fontaine playing classics in Room 2 or Little Gay Brother taking over the entire club, we’ve always surprised. Whereas we know what high energy we’ll get with XLsior, I can’t wait for the surprises up our sleeves with Room 2!

One Night In Heaven is at Heaven, Under the Arches, off Villiers Street, London, WC2N 6NG.
