The Royal Vauxhall Tavern Retro Monday: Bank Holiday Monday 17th April
Last Bank Holiday Monday we were drawn like moths to a bright flame to the Royal Vauxhall Tavern for a sensational Retro Monday.
The throbbing crowd was there for the unique mix of amazing DJs and world-class cabaret, and that cabaret was provided by Jonathan Hellyer not as Edna but this time as the marvellous Trannie Lennox. Think Annie Lennox meets Billy Connolly and you’re on the right track, with great songs and laugh-out-loud gags. We also got fantastic DJ sets from Simon Le Vans, Andy Almighty and Sean Sirrs.
