Pixie Lott at G-A-Y: Saturday 6th May, 10.30pm – 5am

This Saturday the lovely Pixie Lott is making a welcome return to G-A-Y to launch her new single Baby. We take a look at the career of this charming and talented pop star.

At just 26 years old, Pixie Lott has already had a career that most people twice her age would envy, with number one singles, million selling albums and much more.

Pixie’s career started with a bidding war between labels after L.A. Reid saw her perform aged just 15. She signed with Mercury Records and a publishing deal with Sony/ATV, which led to her writing songs for Alexandra Burke and others.

She started as a performer by supporting The Saturdays on tour before her debut single Do Mama went straight to number one. Her second single Boys and Girls was another chart topper in the UK and that led to her debut album Turn It Up selling over a million copies. More hits followed including another number one All About Tonight, plus top ten hits Kiss the Stars, Nasty, I Got Soul and Bright Lights.

Pixie has also become a star of stage and screen; she was on the 12th series of Strictly Come Dancing, acted in an episode of Inspector George Gently and had the lead role of Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Entry is £3 with a wristband from G-A-Y Bar.

G-A-Y is at Heaven, Under the Arches, off Villiers Street, Charing Cross, London, WC2N 6NG.
