If you’re looking for something new to do then the Lates experience at the London Dungeon comes highly recommended. This all-new immersive theatre show is incredible value for money and as soon as you arrive the action-packed 75 minutes of thrills, spills and things that go bump in the night begins.
With a welcome drink thrust into your hand the world of envy is laid out in front you, as is a tin mug with pea soup, a garish green concoction, that was actually very moorish. One highlight was the part where you were treated to the delights of Mrs Lovett’s pie shop, which was very funny and again came with an amuse-bouche-sized piece of pie.
I have never seen the Seven Deadly Sins displayed with so much flair and panache – hold on tight to the person you are with as the thrills come very quickly. This is a wonderful experience and should be put on any bucket or wish list for Londoners or tourists. Stephen Vowles
