Dancing in the streets: The Two Brewers Street Party this Saturday 1st July

This Saturday is one of our favourites of the year, the Two Brewers Street Party. This raucous celebration sees the road next to and the space behind the Clapham super venue converted into a cabaret hot spot with a purpose built stage and its own bars. Imagine a very camp Glastonbury without the mud. Each year the scene’s biggest names get together for the outdoor shindig, here’s a sneak peek of what to expect on Saturday.

Two years ago the much loved Clapham Street Party had a re-brand and a change of location when it moved into Prescott Place next to the Two Brewers.

Attendance numbers have jumped since the move and this year’s event looks like being the biggest and best yet with a stunning line-up. Hosting this sequin jamboree will be two of the scene’s most popular and respected acts (they paid us to say that) Lola Lasagne and Sandra.

Also down on the party list are: The DE Experience, Mrs Moore, Rose Garden, Kara Van Park, Son of a Tutu, Maisie Trollette, CK, Drag With No Name, Mary Mac, Lady Imelda, Baga Chipz, The Vixens, Diane Horan Hill, Miss Jason, Myra DuBois, Titti La Camp and Tanya Hyde.

There will also be a set of fierce DJs banging out the tunes in the summer sun including Moto Blanco, Chris Brogan, Liam Chaplin, Phil Marriott and Demon. Plus there’s special outside bars and a crowd packed with happy smiling poofs. Wahoo! And as if all that wasn’t enough there’s an after-party inside the Brewers taking you through until 4am. See you there!

The Two Brewers Street Party is on Saturday 1 July, midday to 9.30pm.

Entry to the Street Party is £4 donation for Pride in London and local charities.

The Two Brewers, 114 Clapham High Street, SW4.
